Planting bulbs in the fall is incredibly rewarding the following spring. Bulbs are inexpensive to purchase and install, they require little to no maintenance, and the color in the spring time is outstanding. In the photo above are pink tulips. Some of my favorite low maintenance bulbs include daffodils, hyacinths, crocus and allium which area all deer resistant. If you plant tulips you will need to protect their blooms in the spring time, deer see these as giant colorful lollipops.
